Hi! On behalf of the Delta Upsilon chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta, welcome! My name is Morgan Maixner, and I am honored to be serving as Chapter President this year. My hope is that through our website you are able to catch a glimpse into what makes Delta Upsilon chapter and the sisterhood shared between our members so special. While going through Recruitment, I was always welcomed and felt as though the women were genuinely excited to see me. I was met with a welcoming environment and women that were confident, loving, and who took the time to get to know who I was. Every day since Bid Day, I have been met with that same level of excitement and love from those very same women. As an Alpha Gam, you are constantly surrounded by incredible women, role models, leaders, and the best of friends. Our members are dedicated to improving their own lives, the lives of those around them, and serving the communities they are a part of. Whether we are at the food pantry, participating in sports clubs/games/events, or sharing a smile to the person next to them. No matter where you go or what you choose to be involved in on campus, an Alpha Gam will be there too, as a leader, supporter, or participant! Our members pursue academic excellence and we have been recognized for having top grades not only on Boise State's campus but within all Alpha Gamma Delta chapters as well. While we are so proud of these achievements and awards, they are not what make our sisterhood valuable. Rather, it is our sisterhood that makes these accomplishments possible. Alpha Gam is an environment full of love for the woman you are now and encouragement for the woman you hope to be at the end of your college career. One line of our purpose is “to cherish friendships” and whether it is through shared meals, movie nights at a sisters house, karaoke parties, or hometown visits with friends, I have seen what sisterhood and true friendship means. I am so glad you visited our website! While you’re here, I hope you are able to see what makes Delta Upsilon chapter home for each of us!Much love, Morgan Maixner
